BRIEF

UK City of Culture is a designation given to a city in the United Kingdom for a period of one year. The award is given every four years to a city that demonstrates the belief in the transformational power of culture. The arts and cultural programme for the year celebrates the unique character of the city, its people, history and geography, its culture and place in the wider cultural offer of its region, and aims to make it a cultural destination for must-see events. In a team, produce a theoretical brand identity for Colchester as a bidding city for the City of Culture 2025.
